English

At the launch event that took place on 30 of October, 2012,  Romanian children participating in the project proposed a wishlist that any teen would have, to show that they know what they want.
If you agree with their list or you have other proposals, leave comments or click above this post,  to any of the following:
"funny", "interesting" or "cool".

Here is the list:(awaiting for a better translation in English...)

- To be healthy
- To always feel safe
- To be treated fairly by people
- To learn from those who know better
- To learn what I need to know
- To understand why and what I learn for
- To wear the clothes I have -without anybody laughing about  it
- To get  answers to my questions, honestly and accurately
- To have somebody to share my joys and sorrows
- To count on my friends
- To get opportunities to show what I can do and who I am
- To not be ignored or treated with indifference
- To not hear  that sometimes I am too big and other times I am too small to do certain things. I need more than that to be convinced
- To not be ridiculed for my clumsiness, I don't have to know everything, I am not an adult yet
- To have many interesting leisure activities to choose from and  not to be criticized for wasting my time
- To have the right to express my opinion on issues that concern me, or to have somebody to do it for me,  if my voice is too weak

The transcript in English:

Internet is more and more used in special schools. At  Special Middle School "Constantin Paunescu" a group of young students and teachers have developed an innovative project.
By this project, the activities of children with special needs will be available worldwide via a blog.
This school year, Special Middle School "Constantin Paunescu" became a member of the Academy of Central European Schools.
A group of teachers and students initiated the project "Media voices 4 special teens."
Prof. Elena Eigel, project coordinator:"Project involves educational activities that will be published on our blog, or on the Serbian partner's magazine "Razvitak" (which means Development). The project includes the creation of the blog "Media voices 4 special teens" where information about children's activities will be posted in English and Romanian. In turn, partners in Serbia will post information in English and Serbian. One of those involved in the project is the volunteer Florin Ungureanu Toma, eighth grade student at School "A. Russo".
Toma Florin Ungureanu, student volunteer into the project:"Through our National volunteering programme, I was selected from my school and my role in this project is to be the manager of this blog and I'm the first to know all the news and will give you all the news on, that everyone knows what is happening in this project".
The school headteacher says that this is not the first project they run in support of children with special needs.
Sorin Gabriel Danila, headteacher, School "Constantin Paunescu": Through this project we want to make ourselves known, to present our specific, to work with partner schools and our children to be involved in activities that are somehow more special than they have every day."
The project "Media voices 4 special teens" will end in March 2013. Meanwhile, the School "Constantin Paunescu"  will receive a visit of project partners. The initiative is  about schools from countries such as Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia or Slovenia.

Prevod na srpski:

Internet se
sve više i više koristi u specijalnim školama.

What a Wonderful World

Well I see trees of green and
Red roses too,
I'll watch them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

Well I see skies of blue and I see clouds of white
And the brightness of day
I like the dark and I think to myself
What a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people passing by
I see friends shaking hands
Saying, "How do you do?"
They're really saying, I...I love you
I hear babies cry and I watch them grow,
They'll learn much more
Than we'll know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world world

COMUNICAT DE PRESĂ

Începând cu anul școlar 2012-2013, Școala Gimnazială Specială ”Constantin Păunescu”  Iași a devenit membră a Academiei Școlilor Central Europene (Academy of Central European Schools).
Eigel Elena- a fost declarat câștigător în urma competiției de granturi 2012, care a avut tema: „Reality Check – How we perceive and construct the world through media” (”Verificarea realității- Cum percepem si construim lumea prin media”).
